- Money savers – each cloth replaces up to 17 rolls of paper towels
- Time and space saver – stay out of the paper goods aisle in the supermarket and free up your closet space!
The natural dishcloth material was invented in Sweden in 1949 but ours are made by a family owned business in the United States. We support other small businesses made in the USA.
How to Care for your Dishcloths
Swedish dishcloths are easy to care for. It is just important to know that extended high temperatures will shrink the dishcloths and reduce their lifespan.
- Machine wash: toss in with your regular laundry. DO NOT add to the dryer.
- Dishwasher: put your dishcloth(s) on the top shelf of the dishwasher. Be sure to turn off the drying cycle.
- Microwave: put damp cloth in microwave (or boiling water) for 1 minute
Hang your washcloth over a faucet or lay flat to air dry.

Swedish Dishcloths are Better Than Sponges
Traditional kitchen sponges are porous and thick; they take a long time to dry.
Swedish dish cloths are quick drying and less hospitable to bacteria, most of which need moisture to thrive. Despite their thickness, they are super absorbent.
They are also easily washed in your washing machine or the top shelf of your dishwasher.
