Citry Sage Lotion Bars

Backyard Bees Citry Sage is a moisturizing beeswax lotion bar. It is lightly scented with pink grapefruit, lemongrass, and clary sage essential oils. They glide on smoothly and are non-greasy!

Our paper tube sustainable packaging means they are  lightweight and zero-waste. Furthermore, they won’t spill in your purse, gym bag, or travel satchel. 

These bars are beeswax based, not water based. This means that they don’t need to be reapplied as often. You don’t need to use as much and they last for a long time.

Beeswax Lotion Bar: how to use

These bars are solid all the time, but may become harder or softer depending on the storage temperature. Avoid storing in extreme conditions.

Take a moment to let the bar take on some of your body heat to soften the bar up (the back of your wrist works great) and let it glide over your skin. 

To use, rub the bar gently over the top of your knuckles. Use your fingertips to massage the lotion ‘flecks” in a circular pattern across your skin. 

A little bit goes a long way.  

Zero Waste Body Lotion

We use sustainable packaging for all our products. When you get to the bottom of your paper tube, don’t forget that you can recycle or compost the packaging. Zero waste!

A note on Paper Tube Sustainable Packaging

Backyard Bees products are sustainably packaged in compostable paper tubes. This same packaging is used in our zero waste deodorant, Lemon Bomb lip balm, Lip Balm Addict Trio; and mini herbal lip balms (like Rose Kisses).

When you use the tube for the first time, you may need to push up a little harder at the bottom to release the seal. be easier.

To close, push the bar back down using the pressure of your skin.
